The US flag in the military HQ tent is improperly displayed. When hung against a wall, whether in a horizontal or vertical orientation, the union (the blue part with the stars) should always be in the upper left corner when viewed.
Besides looking way too young to be a three star general, Gen Vasquez sports a thick goatee, which is never authorized while in Army uniform.
In the US military, salutes are offered by lower-ranks and returned by upper-ranks. The soldiers in this movie salute pretty randomly, sometimes one, sometimes the other.
