Bad acting, and the makeup! Don't get me started. Dr. Gothen's age makeup looked like someone smeared Elmer's Glue on her face and just covered it with foundation. Don't waste your time on this garbage of a movie. I feel like this movie was made as a joke for April Fool's Day.

I'm only watching to see just how bad it's gonna get.
The first messed up thing was how they did the interaction between the paper boy and gothel. They were obviously not really interacting with one another and you could see the boy was in front of some screen it was so bad. And the terrible acting is almost cringeworthy. Even the kids aren't charmed and they impress so easily. Oh and I'm finding the oven tech boy with his ikea nail set absolutely hilarious...
I've never made a movie... I'd probably be just as bad but that's what personal collections are for... best to keep flops like these private.

Low-budget, bad quality, amateur production. The filming is bad. The camera does not show what people want to actually see. For example, when an ingredient is added to the conical flask, the camera shows something completely irrelevant.
Bad acting. Bad filming. Bad amateur production.

I don't normally criticize movies but the makeup was just caked and dried on with terrible lines in attempt to make the character look old. I have never seen such a horribly put together movie. I honestly think junior high/ middle school students could have done a better job making a film out of it!

I stumbled upon this on amazon. I though what the heck and started it. This is truly an unfortunate movie. It's not even worth the time to laugh at how bad it is. I'm not even going to list what's bad about it, it's just bad everything. But good on the people who made it, maybe next time will be better.

They must have tried to earn money off of the Disney movies being made into "real" movies..
But oh my GOD this is bad!!
The specialeffects are so bad, my 11 year old daugther could have done a better job!
Same with the camerawork and greenscreen! And the acting is bad!
The story has also been chanced. And it doesn't do anything good for the movie!
It looks more like a really long tele novella episode (like the ones they watched on "Ugly Betty"), than a movie!
If you want to watch a really bad movie and laugh at all the bad elements, then this is the perfect "movie"!
If you wanna watch Rapunzel, the Disney Cartoon version, is the better choice!

Ive watched many movies where i thought "that was the worst one" but watching this movie made me think that my cheese had slid off the cracker. never in my life have i watched such a tragedy of a movie. an absolute trainwreck from start to finish. once you thought it couldnt get any worse it did.
from the camera angles, generic music, and the awful acting and makeup, i couldve made this better if i made it on imovie.
waste of production money. save yourself your time and watch something thats not this. i assure you ANYTHING is better than this.

I love bad movies. Sometimes they are gems and actually better than rated. More often they are ok stories but hampered by poor budget and acting. Occasionally they are so bad they are funny. This movie was none of these. I actually struggle to understand how it even made it into production. The acting was appalling, the directing no better and the makeup... well my 9 yr old does better makeup.

Oh my god, the dialogue is so bad. I'm not mad about the bad acting or the cheap sets, but the dialogue... it's just terrible. Its partly dumbed down for kids, partly not, its stilted and awkward, I cant even explain how just awful it is. The 'old lady' make up is horrendous, and the whole thing is just so damn slow. Shout out to the scene where mother gothen screams at the two kids, it's so bad my whole body cringed. I've watched alot of bad films for a giggle, but this one will only leave you sad that you wasted 90 minutes of your life.
