Gerard Butler in Gamer (2009)

Goofs

Gamer

Edit

Continuity

(at around 23 mins) In one scene, John gets some kind of brain bits in his face after a head gets blown off in front of him. A couple shots later, the bits are gone.

Factual errors

The scene where Kable vomits the contents of a bottle of alcohol into the tank of a truck and then drives into an extended chase is totally impossible. Drinkable type alcohol is typically only about 40% ethanol and even if he managed to puke the entire contents of the bottle into the tank a pint would never enable him to drive at those speeds and for that distance.

However, it wasn't stated as a fact that this was the only ethanol the vehicle had in it's tank. It's possible that that vehicle had plenty of fuel already in it's tank, from having being driven to where it was parked, when Kable vomited into it.

Revealing mistakes

(at around 1 min) Another mistake of writing "kable" using Arabic letters is that they are not connected. In languages where Arabic letters are used for writing, letters of a word should be connected otherwise it is not readable (or very difficult to read).
(at around 1 min) In the scene showing the pyramids in Egypt, the word "Kable" is displayed backwards in Arabic letters. Since Arabic is read from right to left, the way it is shown in the movie, it would be read as "Lebaak".
(at around 43 mins) In the scene where it reads "Kables Last Stand" on three separate buildings, the furthest left building has the original banner reflection of the middle building in place of the word "Last", including an NBC logo at the bottom.
