We've seen bits of footage and photos from "True Blood" Season 5 as the weeks inch closer to the hit HBO show's June 10 debut, and now we have a better look at some of the new faces --as well as a few familiar ones -- headed to Bon Temps.
HBO released a series of photos of the cast, including a look at newcomers Christopher Meloni and Scott Foley. Sookie (Anna Paquin), Bill (Stephen Moyer), Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and most of the gang are around as well -- but there's stil no Tara (Rutina Wesley) in sight. (Things looked pretty grim for her at the end of last season.)
Though we've already gotten a few looks at the new season, including the official teaser trailer, and some clips featuring scenes between Sam and Luna, Pam and Eric, and Patrick and Terry, we think HBO says it best when it comes to "True Blood": "Waiting Sucks.

HBO has put out another “Waiting Sucks” teaser for True Blood Season 5 that shows us a view of a scene from the new season as it is being filmed, giving us a very unique look of things. I’ve been digging this style and hope there will be more like this to come. You can check out the teaser below and, if you’re like me, you can imagine how this scene will turn out in the final version of whichever episode it takes place in. We have no idea what the angles will look like, so when we do see this when it airs it will look completely different.
In the teaser, we can see Terry and Patrick (Scott Foley) at gunpoint. And who is holding the gun, you ask? I have no idea. This must be a new character. We never get a good look at his face,...

Waiting sucks, especially if you're Scott Foley's "True Blood" character and there's a gun to your head. In the newest "True Blood" teaser, Foley's Patrick and Terry (Todd Lowe) are ambushed -- by somebody they know, it seems -- and questioned about being followed ... not necessarily by somebody, but by "anything."
Apparently, not even Terry's past gets to stay buried. Previous "True Blood" Season 5 teasers have included Alcide and Sookie discussing Russell Edgington's return, buried secrets coming to light and a first look at the new season featuring lots of quick new footage.
When we last saw the fine folks of Bon Temps, Tara had gotten shot in the head, Alcide had confessed his love for Sookie and Foley's character had just arrived in town.
Watch two versions of the Terry/Patrick scene below. Warning, there's strong language.
"True Blood" returns Sun., June 10 at 9 p.m. Et on HBO.
