Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, and Maluma in Marry Me (2022)

Goofs

Marry Me

Edit

Continuity

When Kat is singing "After Love" at the school dance, she holds the microphone with her right hand in the front shots and her left when shot from behind.
After Charlie rips up the check, he is presented with another by Colin. During this scene, as the camera angle moves between front and behind, Colin's hand quite obviously changes position on the check, and a fold in the top corner appears and disappears.
After the marriage and resulting kiss, the camera angle switches to the audience's perspective. Kat's hands are shown flat on Charlie's chest, then a split second later her fists are clenched on his coat.
While Kat is making her speech at the first "Marry Me" concert, the dry ice in the background is on, then off, then on again instantly.
On Lou's first day at the school, Charlie, Lou and Esther are all wearing entirely different clothes from one scene to another.

Factual errors

In the classroom, when asked "what's our number?", the class recites pi as "3.14159265839". Pi to 11 digits is actually "3.14159265359"
The Vitamix blender that Kat accidentally blends with the lid off is a Vitamix "Ascent" blender that actually won't operate when the lid is off.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

When Kat and Charlie are discussing their previous marriages, she tells him that she has been married three times and theirs would be her fourth. Later, when she tells him how she got together with Bastian, she says it was after she broke up with her second husband.

However, she had qualified earlier by saying the 1st marriage only lasted 48 hours and "doesn't count".
When Kat puts her fingers in the bowling ball, she uses her thumb, first, and middle fingers--not the thumb, middle, and ring fingers as normally used.

"As normally used" is the correct statement; however, a small percentage of bowlers use the same fingers Kat used.

Revealing mistakes

Right before Charlie tells Kat about going to the Wonder Wheel with his mom, Kat is on a business call. But even after she ends the conversation, her phone still shows an active call.

Character error

Kat's manager Colin tells her that he'll get Charlie to sign an NDA to undo the wedding. That would do nothing towards canceling the marriage; what he really needs is an annulment.
