I recently saw this at the 2007 Palm Springs Festival of Short Films and it was well received by the the audience at my screening. It's a quirky little story from Director/writer James Arnall with a cast of only two. General Hospital's Carolyn Hennesy is Carolyn, a suburban housewife whose love for cooking and dinner conversation falls on deaf ears in a husband (Donald Agnelli) uncompanionable to her culinary craft. As the gulf between the two widens Carolyn looks elsewhere for an appreciative dinner date and ultimately finds a solution to her loveless marriage. It's kind of predictable as you can see where it's going but it's a well made film and has the dark comedy of an old Alfred Hitchcock Presents type television episode. I liked it and would give this an 8.0 out of 10.
