As a Christian and a film buff, Biblical epics are my favorite genre of film. This Top 10 list has many great movies listed, such as the Charlton Heston movies and The Prince of Egypt, and seeing these films ranked is really fun.
That said, I think some of the choices were really poor. Noah? Really? I have mixed feelings about the movie, but it's certainly not "Biblical", Noah is next to nothing to the Genesis story, so it shouldn't count.
Then there's Jesus Christ Superstar, which includes people thinking Jesus is just a man, and not the Son of God.
David and Bathsheba with Gregory Peck is fine, but it's certainly not a spot above The Greatest Story Ever Told.
How these films made the list while King of Kings and The Robe were "honorable mentions" is really atrocious, and they are much bigger classics than David and Bathsheba!
They don't even mention the truly best one, Pasolini's The Gospel According To St. Matthew! Not only is it my favorite, but Martin Scorsese and Roger Ebert were huge fans as well.
Overall, it's an entertaining video with overall decent picks, but some of the picks are practically literal blasphemy.
