A very obscure disaster
This feature from over two decades back was missing entirely from IMDb, an omission I have just rectified. I doubt, however, if anyone will be checking it out given the zero quality of the video released by Cinderella (coded CDI in the database).
It apparently suffered audio problems, as there is plenty of dialog but it is nearly all drowned out by loud music, making the minimal story very hard to follow. I thought back in the 1990s that pornographers were still respectful of story and characters in their non-gonzo releases, but not this time.
What I could ascertain from snatches of unobstructed dialog, we have Frank Towers anxious to fulfill his dream of converting a bar into a popular sushi restaurant that will feature psychics on the premises to give readings, but his girlfriend Brittany Andrews thinks it's a dumb idea. Concurring with her is Julian St. Jox, who stops in the bar anxious to take it over in order to feature his girl friend as a performer, likely as a stripper given her top-heavy figure.
I recall only one restaurant in my experience that followed the food & pyschic route: Chez Josephine in Manhattan's Theater District, where it was customary after dining to go upstairs for a reading. But this plot gimmick goes nowhere, as the very cheap movie merely delivers five sex scenes with ultra-busty blondes plus a young and contrasting-look Stephanie Swift before she became a superstar (and one of porn's all-time greatest actresses).
John West on a crummy set is inserted from time to time playing a doctor on the phone with other cast members, purpose of which I could not discern. Of course he gets to hump one of the ladies along the way.
This is VHS-era porn at its crummiest.
