The experiment was to paint along with a single composer and let the music dictate the direction and flow. For this piece, entitled "Segovia", Farrell chose the music of Chopin. Among the tracks that were played through the 2 1/2 hour process was Nocturne in F sharp minor Op.48 No.2 Andantino. Her medium is silicone-based "fluid acrylic" paint and a 24x36 birch wood panel. Striving for a true exhibit experience, this film is paced to let the colors seep over you and create a sense of "colour therapy" if you will.
