I was so confused when I read this part in the manga, it wasn't my favorite. But it sets up some important things for some amazing payoffs later. I don't get people comparing this to GoT, this episode shows the reason it's not like GoT. Keeping all elements of the story knowing it will make more sense later, rather than only skipping to the exciting part.

Okay I'm rating this a 7 because that animation was just sub par the worst of the season so far no doubt. But I'd like to address peoples concerns about where not being enough saitama.... This is scene by scene what happened in the source material. SPOILERS......... The whole season is gonna be about what the other heroes are capable of while saitama does the whole tournament thing.
Good follow up

Read many reviews with complaints about not enough Saitama. Need to realize that the studio has adapted the Manga panel by panel. They are showing what's in the Manga. The Animation is not bad. And too much Saitama can turn the show monotonous. We know he finishes off his enemies with ONE PUNCH after all!
Awesome

People hating cuz the storyline is developing and progressing. Pretty sure that's a good thing. So you didn't get 20min of Saitama; maybe he'll be on a talk show, then you can get your fill. Great episode. Love seeing the other hero's and building the world more. 9 cuz animation was good not great.
What a waste of time!!

Omg. First GoT than OPM. This is the show about Saitama, and we get 1 minute screen time of our beloved hero???
What is this bs? I can stand the downgrade about animations, but downgrade about story too ? So sad.
LISTEN
I don't care about some A class hereos fighting some low lvl threat monsters. That is BORING as hell. Give us Saitama for f sake.
I screamed in to a pillow after this episode, so boring and frustrating to watch.

I loved the first season of OPM. It was well-written, unique, animated beautifully, and was one of the rare anime series that gained mainstream acclaim worldwide. Every episode of the original OPM was a treat to watch and it all came together perfectly in the end. The much hyped villain was no match for Saitama and Saitama's quest to find an actual challenge continued. The characters were well written as well, and it was able to juggle over a dozen main characters and not come off as shallow.
Season 2 is dreadfully boring. The animation is such a step down from last season, as are the characters and plot. The "hero-hunter" Garou is a joke character, terribly written, and in episode 3 or 4 (I can't remember, they are all so boring and generic) he ends up running into Saitama and is dispatched with no effort. It was stupid to have them meet up like that and kill any hope of a character being a match for Saitama. I don't care if Garou levels up or whatever, he lost all of his mystery and power (much like the new Star Wars trilogy where Kylo Ren is just a joke all around).
There are too many characters that are written poorly and two-dimensional. Saitama is such an afterthought in this season as well. Why was this written and directed so poorly?
This is how you kill a franchise. I'm five episodes in and I am done - I can't see how they can save this season with only 7 more episodes (around 2 and a half hours of actual episode) because they wrote Garou so poorly.
