- Aichaa discovers that a photo of herself will be published in a magazine. A new playground craze is brought to an early end by Mr. Robson's sports net.
- A craze of "satellite" catches on among the First Formers, joining hands, and swinging round in a large arc, causing terror for anyone caught in the path. Justine goes to see Rod to try to find a spare room that can be used for T-shirt printing. Mr. Robson teaches the First Form about trust - catching a partner falling backwards. He also trusts them to tidy up the gear afterwards - but when he returns, he finds the climbing net missing. Short of funds after losing money to Rod, Mauler and Ted start stealing from the younger members of school, and contemplate finding would-be antiques to sell at the local shop. Tegs rescues Justine from Mauler, and she's grateful but suspicious that he might be spying on her. Georgina and Ronnie's talk with Calley about her new boyfriend becomes a little too personal for Calley's liking. Aichaa shows an interest in Robbie, but she is still nervous about the old relationship between him and Calley. Rod finds Justine a room in the basement, but they are being tailed by Tegs and Matthew. Hearing a noise, Rod and Justine hide and hear Tegs confide in Matthew that he's going to hear about his mum soon, and that he is dismayed that Justine hasn't shown any concern over his home life. Aichaa gets a letter, and a cheque, from "Just 17" magazine, for her glamour photos. Akik gives a demonstration of how to use the old school computer to Mr. Griffiths who is keen to learn about the word processor - but Mr. Mackenzie is expecting it back. Brian, and Locko get the P.E sports net ready, and when the next "satellite" starts to twist around in the playground, they "catch" all its constituent parts, leaving a writhing mass of bodies unable to extricate themselves. Mr. Hargreaves works out that Mr. Griffiths has the old BBC computer, and to the caretaker's chagrin, asks for it to be returned. Meanwhile, Akik, left at the computer, enjoys nosing into the school memos stored there rather insecurely...—Geffers
