My summary is not a knock on this show from ESPN--it's more a comment about the look of the production. Aside from some old footage, the rest appears to have been made using a simple (possibly for home use) video camera. Because of this, it sure doesn't look like other ESPN productions I have watched.
This show is about the Marshall University football program--in particular, how it lost almost its entire team to a plane crash in 1970 and how the show eventually rebounded to the winningest football program of the 1990s. Overall, despite its cheap look, an interesting and touching film. And, if you don't like sports, you can still enjoy and feel inspired by "Remembering Marshall". Well worth seeing.
