Early in the movie Michael gets into a car (possibly VW Golf mk3) which was a 1995 registration, however when we see him pull in to speak to his father the car has a 2001 reg plate. A closer shot in the same scene reveals the 95 plate again.
Despite being set in Dublin, an ad for a UK store which does not trade in the Republic of Ireland can be seen in the background of one scene.
Seems they do trade in Dublin, as the movie was shot there.
