Directed by a comedian actor, but not so badly!
deluca.lorenzo@libero.it3 January 2021
Hong Kong famous comedian Shih Tieh aka Dean Shek made more than 115 movies, and this is one of the five films he directed also. It's a seriosu Kung-Fu adventure about an ex-Shaolin monk expelled for some sex curiosity, so he becomes a wandering guy and gets involved with a criminal gang. He kills them all and keeps wandering. Each time he kills he say a pray to Buddha. The ex-monk is played by actor stuntman Yen Shi Kwan, later a regular in Jackie Chan's films (the evil guy in Fearless Hyena for example). The fights are well-staged by HK specialists Lau Kar Leung and Huang Pei Chia. Kar Lueng's brother Lau Kar Wing plays an henchman also. Released in HK 12/12/75.
