- To get the next data card, Michael, Lincoln and Sucre must crash a police benefit. Meanwhile, T-Bag arouses suspicion on the first day at his new job.
- The boys now know who the five other Scylla-holders are, and trace one to Turkish consul Tabak's wife Lisa, who is about to leave on mission for the General but first attends a fallen LAPD men benefit, 'Eagles and Angels'. The team first accidentally spots and corners T-bag but must let him go as a cop passes, so 'Mr. Cole Pfeiffer' can take the corner office as sales record breaker according to the bird book plan. Team Scofield steals police badges and gets close enough to Lisa to scan her card, while Linc is recognized and held at gunpoint but kills her Company bodyguard. Wyatt tortures Gretchen and goes after Sara.—KGF Vissers
- Previously on...: The company made Michael and the gang an offer for their freedom to find Scylla, a memory card that serves as The Company's "black book." Glenn, the new techie guy, invented a device that could download files wirelessly within 10 feet. Michael and the gang got to one card before discovering that Scylla is actually six cards. T-Bag pieced together the clues in the bird book and was on his way to L.A., impersonating a salesman, to pick up some kind of bonus. Michael observed a meeting between all six Scylla card holders, so now they know who has the other five cards.
Back to the action: Michael and Sarah share a peaceful moment on the dock, talking about their hopes and dreams for a pleasant future that includes riding into the sunset on a yacht.
Michael's camera phone gave the gang a glimpse of a Turkish flag on the car of one of the men at the six-person Scylla meeting. Michael went off to find the Turkish consulate, reassuring Sarah about their future... "one day." Meanwhile, T-Bag practiced his impersonation of Colt Pfeiffer, the man he's supposed to be.
The gang went to the Turkish consulate to download the data from the man they thought was the card holder. But when their signal on Glenn's device went dead, they realized the man's wife was the one with the card.
Agent Self called Sarah to tell her that Bruce Bennett was found dead. Lisa, the Turkish card holder, was given some mysterious directions about not arousing suspicion. Michael and the gang saw the woman leaving the consulate, but couldn't go near her because she had three private security guards around. Just as she walked away, they all noticed T-Bag standing nearby. He saw them, too, and made a run for it. (Something tells me T-Bag is going to be doing some fast talking real soon!)
T-Bag ditched the bird book into a planter box as he ran from Lincoln and Michael, who eventually caught up to him and, with Lincoln slamming T-Bag into a wall, demanded to know where the book was. A security officer noticed some commotion. As the guard approached, Michael and Lincoln let T-Bag go and he promptly went and retrieved the bird book.
Wyatt arrived in L.A. in search of Sarah. He reported back to his boss, who told him to keep Gretchen alive because she must know something. Sarah blamed herself for Bennett's murder. T-Bag, meanwhile, showed up at an office to collect his bonus check as Cole Pfeiffer, and the receptionist gave him a message that included another clue inside the bird book.
Self warned Michael that Bennett might have told The Company they're all in L.A. Michael told Self about T-Bag and the fact that he has the book that might hold a plan for the break-in. Self rushed into action all Michael Rapaport-style.
Back at the warehouse, the gang put together clues about Lisa Tabak, the wife of the Turkish consul, and learned she'd be at a benefit for fallen police officers that night. "If you're gonna get near her," Mahone told them, "it's going to be with about half the cops in L.A."
Self got in touch with Jasper and said he was going to meet him, but it looked like Wyatt was already there. The gang packed up what they needed to hit the benefit where Lisa Tabak would be. T-Bag was introduced to his office at the sales company. His new colleague was surprised he had met or seen "Cole Pfeiffer" before. His office number matched with another clue in the bird book.
Sarah sat alone in the warehouse and had a flash of Bennett before running away to a bar, where she nearly drank her order of bourbon, but stopped short. She's been sober over three years.
Self arrived at Jasper's apartment to find him dead on the floor. We next saw Wyatt in an elevator as its doors closed. Meanwhile, the gang broke into a police storage facility, where they found uniforms and badges that helped them crash the police officer benefit.
Inside the benefit, Michael didn't waste any time on his mission. He stuck Glenn's wireless data transmission device under the table where Lisa was going to be sitting. A police officer in attendance asked Michael where he worked and he hesitated. He tried to cover, saying he was emotional because one of the fallen cops being honored was one of his guys. But the cop seemed suspicious.
Back at the bar, Sarah struggled over whether to drown her sorrows in bourbon when a guy came over and started hassling her a bit before stealing her credit card with Bennett's name on it. The man used it to pay his tab.
Back at the benefit, Lincoln was made by one of Lisa's guards, who'd seen him outside the consulate. As Lincoln scooted out a back door, Lisa got a warning instructing her to leave, but the device had only downloaded about half of the data. Once he was outside, Lincoln was met by Lisa's guard, who knew his name and said it as he pointed a gun in Lincoln's face.
As Lincoln's standoff continued, Bellick came up from behind and stabbed the guard in the side, with Lincoln turning around and finishing the job. Lincoln called Michael, who was still inside and watching Lisa leave. He asked Michael to do something while they got rid of the body, but Michael told him to let the other guards find the body, adding, "wait for Mahone."
Cut to Gretchen, still chained in a dark room where Wyatt has been torturing her. Wyatt came in and asked her why Whistler was looking into Scylla. As Wyatt was torturing her, he got a call from a woman telling him that Bennett's credit card had just been used at a bar in San Pedro.
Back at the benefit, Michael put his new plan into action. Mahone, dressed as a cop, told one of Lisa's security guards that there was a body outside and "we believe it's one of your men." He asked the guard to come outside and identify the body while Michael stayed with Lisa, standing close enough to continue the wireless downloading of the data on the Scylla card she was carrying. Then Michael's nose started bleeding.
Back at the bar, Wyatt showed up and asked the bartender if she'd seen Sarah, who was apparently in the bathroom still crying and wondering if Michael's promise of a peaceful life was enough to keep her going.
The files finished downloading and Lisa was whisked away by her remaining security team. Back at the bar, the bartender said she hadn't seen Sarah. Within seconds, Sarah left the ladies' room and slipped out an exit that was extremely conveniently close to the ladies' room door, completely unaware of Wyatt's presence. Self and Michael agreed to keep moving forward, despite the fact that Self also lost a friend.
T-Bag was settling into his new office and trying to piece together the rest of the plan from the clues in the bird book. He saw the name "Xing" and a phone number. Cut to a couple of guys in a dark room in New York City, where a guy named Xing told another man that Cole Pfeiffer did not arrive for their meeting. "So, you don't have Scylla?" the man asked, before stabbing Xing and saying he was heading to Los Angeles.
Lincoln asked Glenn if he got anything off Lisa Tabak's phone, and we saw Glenn quickly closed a bunch of windows on his computer screen before he said no. Mahone then asked Glenn to help him find the man who killed his son. He handed him a sketch with a description of Wyatt.
Michael called Sarah to see where she was and how she was doing. She told him he's "all that's keeping me going right now." He wanted them to make some time together and she said, "I'll be right there." Just them, Wyatt appeared and began walking after Sarah.
