Touching of subjects such as creation, the garden of Eden, the nature of beauty and others that I understood even less than these, this film is interesting despite being very arty in its approach. I saw this on a Resfest DVD which had contained other films that had tried to be arty but had come off being pretentious and I'm not entirely sure why I didn't get the same experience from this film but I didn't. The film flows well and the images are mostly interesting (the final montage wasn't that good from my pov).
The dialogue and ideas carry the film and, even if they aren't brilliant or insightful they are delivered in a way that avoids feeling pompous and instead encouraged me to pay attention. This on top of the impressive visuals helped draw me into it. I'm not sure if I would come back for more or not but it was interesting and didn't make me feel like an ignoramus for not totally getting it.
