Goofs

In the scene where Max and Jess are outside laying in the snow, when Max hugs Jessica, he is wearing his wedding band, however, the two are not married yet in the movie.

When Jessica arrives at the Church for the wedding, and while her mom is placing her grandmother's pearls around her neck, she is not wearing her engagement ring. However, when Jessica is putting on her mother's earrings, the engagement ring is on her hand.

Toward the beginning of the movie, when Jessica's mother comes home from a lousy date, she takes a bottle of water out of the refrigerator and is shown taking swigs from it several times, yet the water level on the bottle never goes down.

The time frame is off-kilter in this movie. For example, it is September when Max tells his boss at the construction site in Boston that he and Jessica got married two months ago, which would have put their wedding in July but early on it is clear that they got married in February. Also, Jessica's father's and his girlfriend's baby was due in August, but it was not until the Fall, when Jessica had already been in college for awhile, that her father went to visit her and told her the baby was due "any day now". At that time, the baby would have been a few months old already.
