humorously sad

Being a huge Jeff Burns fan, its no wonder I liked this movie so much. It is one of the best local Indie movies I've seen in a long time.

The Plot: Unrequited love and humorous cell phone problems.

The Good: This is a very well done movie. Jeff Burns has great direction as always. The actors performances are real good. You won't find better direction for this kind of short movie. I don't normally watch shorts but Burns has changed that.

The Bad: Its not for everyone and its only 11 minutes long. It is an Indie but its very well done.

I give it a 10/10!

I have just seen this delightful film which shows in a romantic situation a predicament we have all faced and that is our reaction to silence. Christina Vinsick is speaking to her male friend Evan Leone on a cell phone when suddenly she can no longer hear his voice. At first, a decision has to be made as to whether the connection is broken or the other person is not speaking. She decides that the connection has been broken and that anything she says will not be heard by her friend. Actually, he still can hear her. She then says she loves him. His hearing this immediately changes their relationship from friendship to something more. Christina Vinsick has captured this role superbly and is very believable and appealing as someone who has said something they wish they could take back.

Evan Leone does remarkably well as the off screen voice of Christina Vinsick's friend.
