Eldritch puts his final plan into action with the reluctant help of Marcie's neighbour Mr Polzinski.
Pure escapism, particularly for youngsters, it's plain and simple fantasy drama, albeit one with a slightly more grown up edge. We get a glimpse of Eldritch's plan, not the whole thing, but it's something to do with humans becoming reliant on computers. Miss Maitland is quite gung ho, allowing her pupils to tackle kidnappers and Lord knows what.
It's all great fun, I had forgotten it was split into two segments, overall this first segment was a good solid watch. You can argue the acting from the kids was a bit iffy at times, but it's well balanced by the adults, particularly Brigit Forsyth. 7/10
