The title is a reference to the 1995 song of the same name by Oasis. It is also a weather phenomenon in northern Australia that causes long roll shaped clouds as seen in this episode in the sea of rainbow clouds.
From this episode onward, the "to be continued" line at the end of the episode is spoken by both Renton and Eureka. Prior to this, it was only Renton.
Ken-Goh referred to Renton as the "Prodigal son" when he returns. This is a reference to the Bible parable of the same name.
Due to how Renton rescues Eureka, they inadvertently end up cuddling (as there's not enough space for her to move to the copilot seat); while embarrassed at first, the two get to enjoy the intimate reunion once the battle is over.
Renton and Eureka no longer wish to kill enemy LFOs. So they now resort to breaking arms and weapons to make it impossible to fight.
