A quality case for Maguire.
DS Hadley has been working on a serious of violent crimes, he's tricked and lured to the gang, and subsequently killed, Maguire takes over the case. A set of sandwich boards hold the key.
It's definitely the best episode of Dial 999 that ice seen for some time, a really gritty, engaging mystery, with a pretty shocking opening sequence, and a great cast.
Ok, so I do have one criticism, why on Earth did DS Hadley go into that building, did he not read his Police training manual, that was a little far fetched, but of course necessary for getting Maguire attached to the case.
How great to see the wonderful Sydney Tafler appear in an episode, and be adds some real presence as the villainous Pete. I thought Benn was a really great, quirky character too.
One of the best ones I've seen so far.
8/10.
