Flordeluna is one of my favourite flowers!

Maria Flordeluna is probably (certainly) the best ABS-CBN show for a very long time.

Why do I like Maria Flordeluna? It has great acting, good direction and story. Eliza Pineda (Flor) is very good, but I prefer Kristel Fulgar (the evil Wilma) in terms of acting. But it is Eula Valdez (Jo, the mother) and Nash Aguas (Reneboy, Flor's younger brother) who steals the show for me - excellent acting, give them an award.

At first, I found the series annoying because I want Flor and Reneboy to be happy, but as the story progresses on, I actually liked it. Also, I didn't like the theme song by Sheryn Regis, but it grew on me!

After the disastrous Panday, Walang Kapalit and Rounin, and the mediocre Maging Sino Ka Man and Bituing Walang Ningning, ABS-CBN has redeemed them-self. Let's just see if ABS-CBN could make another good series after this, hoping that Ysabella would be any good, even though it sounds like a rip-off of Jewel in the Palace.
