- When an eggbeater falls into Ariel's hands, Ursula puts an evil spell on it to terrorize the citizens of Atlantica.
- The episode begins with Triton saying he's leaving for a conference and he tells Ariel to stay out of trouble, although it's Ursula the sea witch who says he didn't tell her to stay out of trouble.
It then goes on to show Ariel hunting for more human treasures and saying that she hasn't found anything good yet, ie. anything human. Suddenly we see a scene on a ship, where Prince Eric is briefly seen tossing a rubber ball to his dog Max, then it scans down to the ship's kitchen where Chef Louis is baking something. Louis carries a handmixer in his pocket, but then slips on a bunch of grapes, and loses his mixer overboard.
Ariel finds the mixer and adds it to her collection in the grotto. Soon her hearing impared friend Gabriella & her octopus Olly visit Ariel in the grotto and they talk about all of their memories involving the human things. Ursula spies on them with her eels & her crystal ball bubble, and decides to animate the mixer.
The mixer turns into a whirlpool, which threatens to take over Atlantica, and Ursula acts like the kingdom's savior with her magic potions. Ariel and Gabriella though are able to stop the mixer with seaweed instead of magic, however when they move Arie's things out of the groto, Ursula animates everything and causes an even bigger mess.
Ariel then decides she might have to make a sacrifice, so she goes to Ursula's cave (which is abandoned, and doesn't have any shrunken worm-like people, like the movie, yet) and finds one of her potions. When Ariel throws the potion at her things, after the whirlpool sucked all of her friends into its vortex, all of her human things are destroyed. Ariel says though that sacrificing a few things is easier than her friends and that she can always collect more things in her adventures in the near future. Meanwhile Ursula declares they haven't seen the last of her, and that tomorrow is another day...and if you've no doubt seen the original film, you know how true that is!
(IMHO parts of this episode seem to be leading up to the events from the original film, although there are a few inconsistancies, namely Ariel's amount of human things left or not left after this incident w/Ursula, and Ursula's lack of victims on her cave floor.)
