Paul Denyer
a_baron1 June 2014
In June and July 1993, Australian serial killer Paul Charles Denyer murdered three women in and around Frankston. This documentary explores the investigation – such as it was – and his motives – such as they were. There are reconstructions and footage of the man himself including in the interrogation room and assisting officers at the crime scenes.

Serial killers are often of above average intelligence, but not Denyer. He was brought to book after his car attracted attention. Almost at once the police focused on him, and although initially he denied everything, it wasn't long before he confessed freely and in a totally matter of fact fashion to all his crimes. When asked why, he said he had always wanted to commit a murder since about the age of 14.

Denyer was 21 when he carried out these senseless slayings, and has now spent half his life in prison. Hopefully he will still be behind bars long after he has completed his 30 year tariff.
