This is why I prefer Family Guy Seasons 1 through 6 over Seasons 7 through onwards. Peter and his family went to the Quahog Veteran's Day Celebration and then Peter listens to Herbert singing "God Bless The USA", he felt very proud to be an American. In the middle of the episode, he fears that America is being infested with illegal immigrants so he drove some of them away by having them fired and arrested. Then when he comes to his mother's house, Peter asked his mother, Thelma for his birth certificate to prove his citizenship in America. But Thelma told him that Peter was born in Mexico. So Peter feels flabbergasted and bummed out about him being an illegal Mexican immigrant, he has no job, his family is in deep crap, and he tries so hard to find a decent job for him...all because of Peter being an illegal Mexican immigrant, but luckily, Carter has a job for him as working with illegal Mexican immigrants, this working for Carter. Peter felt terrible for his first job, so the Mexicans started celebrating Cinco de Mayo until Carter crashes the party. He doesn't want the immigrants to have fun, he wants them to work, that made Peter very mad so he started a rebellion against Carter. After all that, Peter got his job back and everythings back to normal. I really liked this episode. It's lighthearted, it has good jokes and nice cutaway gags. This is one of best episodes from Family Guy. I give Padre de Familia and 8.5/10
