Quite a Recess episode this one - and the second one with Gus Griswald (definitely absent) as it's not before "The New Kid".
The whole "Last one to Old Rusty gives Miss Finster a sponge bath" Randall saying his job - somehow more disturbing than humourous.
And the moment of silence TJ etc froze when Principal Prickly stands in front, arms folded like something serious about to happen.
I can't say who side to root for: the kids or the adults. Not the adults' fault that life has its changes and new things come in to replace beloved old ones. And the kids' hardly have the right to claim ownership of the school's property - like they're vouching "Old Rusty" is only thing they care about in their lives. Doubt "Old Rusty" was still there when dinosaurs were on earth.
As expected, it was hardly to stay immortal when the beloved fall apart into pieces.
