Goofs

Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li

Edit

Continuity

When Bison asks Vega to take care of Chun Li, and Vega looks at the photo of her, his hand is white. The Vega double is Scandinavian and Taboo is Hispanic.
After Charlie spots the bomb, everybody evacuates the building. Charlie is in the doorway just as the bomb blows. Yet in a bigger shot of the explosion when the good guys are getting knocked down by the blast, no one is in the doorway. In the next shot Charlie is shown being blasted out of the doorway.

Factual errors

In the funeral scene of Chun-Li's mother, Chun-Li is wearing black. It's customary in Chinese funerals for the family members to wear white since white is symbolic of death.
Bison is the child of Irish missionaries. The actors portraying him as a teenager and adult are appropriate, but when he is gravely ill in the orphanage, the camera zooms on an apparently Asian baby.

Miscellaneous

At 35:14 when Chun-Li is researching Shadaloo there are several grammatical oddities and typos on the Bangkok Business Times pages: "realestate", "obsticles". There is also a "Read More" link missing under one of the articles. "For" on the next page is misspelled as "form".

Anachronisms

During the opening credits, a plane is shown approaching and landing at Kai Tak airport. The next shot over Hong Kong shows the completed IFC Two tower. The tower was completed in 2006; Kai Tak airport closed in 1998.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

When Chun-Li is playing the piano at the recital, the hammers are not moving to strike the strings and create the sound of a piano playing.

Crew or equipment visible

Boom mic visible

Chun-Li goes to the docks to find the White Rose the first time. As she roles off the back of the truck, comes to a stop, and Bison steps on her arm they pan up. As they pan up, after the guns are shown, a boom mic is visible just before the close-up on Bison.

Character error

If Bison was raised in Bangkok from infancy, he wouldn't have the Irish accent that seems to come and go.
