Even the best have an off day....a really, really off day

I watch pretty much everything by Louie that I can; over the past five years it's been a blast. The comic timing, terrific subjects that other s won't touch, just great. They we have this. I kept wanting to turn it off, but, expected it to pick up and get better. It never did. This is the kind of stuff people create when they're on drugs, when everything in their mind seems funny, and their 'yes men' tell them it's hilarious. That's the only explanation I can think of. Perhaps he was having a bad day; or maybe, he had promised a performance and just came up blank as far as material was concerned so he just wrote down the first things that came into his mind. We all have those days when we have writers block, but the deadline looms so we just convince ourselves that what we come up with will be at least mediocre. This doesn't even reach that level. Basically, It's only value is to let other people know that you shouldn't quit just because you had one rotten performance. This is evidence that even talented people aren't perfect. You'll have more fun picking lint out from between your toes than watching this horrid performance.

Has to be seen to be believed

This is a talent show hosted by Louis CK, where he shares a stage with a pretend cowboy playing a piano, and a talking cow who lives inside a television set. People come on stage and show their talent. Further explanation is futile.

It is terrible, but intentionally so. However compared to his other work it still fails. But does it? Is it a double bluff? Will he retrofit this assessment as his justification for it? Questions are all you can ask about this show and the answers don't exist.

Louis CK has successfully, perhaps unintentionally, created a show that needs to be discovered on YouTube at 2AM, with poor sound quality, 10 years after its original broadcast. In this setting, this show is so surreal it has you questioning if, in fact, this ever existed at all. Are actually experiencing a malarian dream?

My advice is make sure you have a copy as proof that it exists. So you can show it to the psychologist when they don't believe you. I have a sneaking suspicion that actually, its just a blank video and I imagined the entire thing.
