In the shooting of the case flying through the air, the director's first attempt landed on top of the camera, breaking the microphone and hitting the cameraman in the face, thus adding £170 to the budget of £490.
Made as part of Project Norma, a Belfast screenwriter's initiative requiring the film to be written to a randomly selected brief of story model, genre, and location. Here the brief was: Tristan & Isolde, Action/adventure, and bar/restaurant.
