John Barrowman in Torchwood (2006)

Goofs

They Keep Killing Suzie

Torchwood

Edit

Continuity

As they are in the van chasing after Suzie/Gwen, Jack asks Owen "How long we got?". Owen responds "minutes". It is clearly nighttime. They catch up to Suzie at the ferry dock in the next scene and it is now daytime. A great deal more time than "minutes" would have had to elapse.
Gwen begins bleeding from the back of the head as Susie's wounds transfer to her, yet she has no corresponding wound on her chin, which is where Susie shot herself in the first place.
During the chase scene, as Jack and Owen are pursuing Suzie, towards the end Owen says they have only minutes, and the sun is not quite over the horizon. When Suzie gets to the ferry site, it is full day, with the sun overhead.
When Susie killed herself she placed the gun under her jaw pointed up. The splash of blood is seen erupting out of the top of her head. The exit wound would be in the top of her head, not the back as shown.
When Suzie comes back to life, Jack and Gwen interrogate her in the cellar. And Jack sits in front of Suzie at a table, he places many pictures on the table of people in Pilgrim. We cut to the upper levels where Owen and Toshiko are watching the interrogation on CCTV. We look through the monitor and see that the pictures have gone. We cut back to the interrogation and the pictures are back on the table.

Factual errors

When Jack is shooting Suzie he fires 6 shots from his Webley revolver, but several of the shots include the sound of a casing hitting the pavement which doesn't happen with a revolver.

Revealing mistakes

The ISBN number read, 0198600585, does not belong to the book "The Complete Poems of Emily Dickinson" but to "The Oxford Dictionary of Quotations".
When the man arrested at the club begins hammering on the cell door when anyone says 'Torchwood', the glass wall and beams holding the panes of glass in place wobbles and shakes, revealing that's it's actually flimsy and presumably actually fairly easy to break through, indicating that the cells are actually not very secure at all.
Mark Briscoe's eyebrows move before Gwen resurrects him.
As Jack is about to plunge the knife into Suzie's chest, her eyes and mouth open a split-second before the knife goes in.

Plot holes

When interrogating Suzie in the cellar, Jack displays pictures of the members of Pilgrim and asks Suzie to identify Max. Tosh had stated previously that Sarah Briscoe never even kept a register of the members of Pilgrim. How did they get the pictures of the members when they didn't even have their names?
