The Pink Panther verbally spoke English, in only two cartoons. They were Pink Pajamas/Sicque! Sicque! Sicque!/Pink Ice (1969) and Rock-a-Bye Pinky/Toulouse la Trick/Sink Pink (1969).
Pinky speaks here, and is voiced by talented impressionist Rich Little.
The name of the diamond company is a pun on the famous gem merchants De Beers.
