DCI Meadows and Suzi are interviewing waiter Paul Vasey, who is accused of trying to kill his boss, whilst making it look like a random attack.
In the review of the previous episode I mentioned how impressed I was with the variety, and the quality of recent episodes. In for the kill is yet another unique, quality episode, one that very much as a unique aspect.
I thought this was an impressive watch, it's more intense than normal, and unlike pretty much every other episode, there is no build up, no back story, we are straight into the interview. It's an interesting storyline, you do need to use your imagination to fill in some of the gaps, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
It's pretty much a four hand episode, although Suzi is virtually silent for a lot of it. George Anton is good here as Paul, a nice part for him to play.
It feels like a one off, a quality watch, 9/10.
