Frequent references are made to "tidal waves", but these are tsunamis, not tidal waves.
When lead henchman, Aslan Bukhari (Andreas Apergis) shoots the security guard in the ship yard to commandeer the explosives from a semi-truck to trigger the final tsunami, he takes the keys, inspects the trailer and sets the keys down on the floor. After toying with a stuffed animal that inexplicably is lying on the floor of the trailer, Aslan shuts and locks the door leaving the keys on the floor.
When Stanley Schiff, the scientist who programmed the explosives to cause the tidal waves, is programming the computers to launch waves to destroy Boston, he stares at a radar screen with Boston Harbor, however the image shown does not include Cape Cod or any land forms beyond the ship channel at Barnstable.
