David Boreanaz, Emily Deschanel, and Aaron D. Spears in Bones (2005)

Goofs

The Woman in the Sand

Bones

Edit

Continuity

In the car after Booth and Brennan leave Sloppy Joe's gym, Brennan has a beauty spot as part of her undercover make up. It wasn't there in the previous scene.

Factual errors

Hodgins states that "In 900 BC, the Greek ruler Theseus" entertained himself by watching 2 men in chairs beat each other to death. Theseus was a mythical king and hence not real.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

While waiting for Booth, Bones begins playing blackjack and almost gets into trouble for card counting. According to official rules and U.S. law, mental card counting is perfectly legal, as long as there is no external device used to assist the process. However, as casinos are private businesses, they are allowed to bar anyone from the building or from gaming for any reason as long as it is not discriminatory. Casinos will routinely remove successful card counters from the casino.

Crew or equipment visible

In Vegas Booth's mic shows through his shirt.

Character error

At one point Zack holds up a baseball bat and calls it a "Cincinnati Slugger". There is no such thing, as it should be called a Louisville Slugger, after the famous manufacturer of baseball bats.
