More goofy than scary

Warning: Spoilers
I came across this series on DVD and bought it without really knowing what it was about. I was very skeptical, because from just looking at the packaging I couldn't tell if this was going to be great or horrible. The fact that Takashi Shizmu (Director of Ju-on)directed it put me over the edge though and I decided to buy it.

I went home and threw it in my DVD player, I watched the first two episodes and was instantly hooked. I'm now on the 9th episode and I'm still being consistently impressed.

This show features everything!! From zombies, ghosts, apparitions, spirits, aliens, to living disembodied hands and haunted pictures. Most of the series features hilarious send-ups of the whole J-horror genre. Although, some of the episodes tend to get a little tedious, on the whole the series is very funny, very bizarre, and thankfully not overly cheesy.

If you are a fan of J-horror I definitely recommend giving the show a try. But, I think that, even if J-horror isn't your thing you can still get enjoyment out of this genuinely funny television series.

Greatest comedic horror since the Addam's Family

This is the most entertaining show i have EVER seen. i watched it with some friends, and we were instantly hooked. We couldn't help but watch all 13 episodes all at once. It was such a great series, almost all of us bought it soon after we watched it. The "making of" episodes are highly entertaining as well.

This show is very creative, it took many traditional Japanese themes and was able to blend them into a comedic modern setting seamlessly. The actors were all phenomenal in this show, and there was a huge array of personalities.

I would recommend this to any fan of the Addam's Family, or anyone looking for a laugh with an occult twist.
