Sierra one catches up and arrests three kids who were joyriding in a Ford Escort XR3I.
It's a fast paced, quite exciting episode, it really does zip along at pace. The main question here, did the kids pinch the car, or were they just opportunists out for a bit of fun.
The but of irritation that exists between Carver and Woods is really good, the latter seems a hell of a lot more competent.
Two hugely talented young lads here, Joe Absalom and Stephen Lord, both of whom would become very well known faces on the box. The Downton Abbey fan in me is also delighted to see a young Brendan Coyle.
The car chase scenes were amazingly well filmed and staged, you can't help but wonder if they'd be able to get away with doing them now. They always used the zipped up Ford Escorts and Fiestas, as a twelve year old I was literally obsessed with Ford's XR2 and XR3, the ultimate hit hatches.
You will chuckle when you hear that Warner paid almost £500 for a car cd player, can you imagine what it would be with now.
Very good, 8/10.
