Wow.....and not in a good way.

I'll start this by saying this is a fan-film, and not a theatrical film, so I wasn't expecting much. There are a few good and many bad things about it. Let's begin with the bad. I'm not going to give away the "plot", but suffice it to say there isn't much of one. The actors are one-dimensional, wooden and not very attractive. It had a very low-brow feel, overall very amateurish. It follows the basics of the DC comics, while trying to be original here and there. Now for the good. I liked the idea to cast an Asian actress (or is she Amerasian?), or any other ethnicity for that matter, after-all Wonder Woman is based on a fictional comic character and other than Diana being an "Amazon", there's not much there historically. But Michele Laurent, who was billed as Michelle O'Neill here is miscast. She's quite petite and she has one of those high pitched voices so popular these days. She's got a pretty face, but is she WW? Nope, not by a long stretch. For some reason, we all expect a tall, well built buxom or athletic woman. I mean c'mon she's an AMAZON! This film short comes in at 39 minutes....that somehow felt like 2 hours. My warning, ONLY watch this if you have to, otherwise by-pass this one. You have been forewarned.
