¿Sabías que...?
- CuriosidadesThis episode features one of the biggest changes in terms of adaptation of the whole series, which is generally very close to the source material. In the comic book, Tintin initially refuses to go to San Theodoros with Haddock and Calculus, correctly suspecting a trap, and disappears for part of the story (the longest narrative section without him in the whole Tintin series), leaving Haddock as the main character. In the episode, however, Tintin's reluctance is omitted and he travels with his friends from the beginning. In addition, the original story, published in 1975, was drawn to be explicitly contemporary in style such as Tintin wearing bell-bottomed trousers instead of his traditional plus fours and riding a motorcycle with gear of that era. This adaptation explicitly alters the imagery to keep it consistent with the older stories in the series.
- PifiasWhen the ambushers tilt their cannon upwards to aim, the telescopic sight does not tilt up along with the barrel.

Great Movie,Needs Improvements
The reason I rated 6 out of 10 because most of the parts which are in the book are not there in the movie which kinds of makes it bad and awful because most of the parts are so funny in the book but since they are NOT in the movie,I had to rate it 6 out of 10.I also didn't enjoy the part where the funny people who are sort of jokers catching General Tapioca,I didn't like the part where the first time there was no chorofoam but the second time, they played the trumpet, they suddenly had chorofoam and suddenly they started killing everyone, that is the only part which I didn't like(part 2).We also missed the part where the explorer comes and they say that they should accept the goods, but when one of his teammates drank the wine,he drank everything but threw up afterwards, that part we also missed from part 2.
