Highlights include Clem Kadiddlehopper and Burl Ives in a square dance-calling competition; Sheriff Deadeye appearing in a Western spoof with Rhonda Fleming and James Arness; Freddie the Freeloader taking on Tommy Sands in a 'battle of the singers'; and a xylophone duet performed by Lionel Hampton and George Appleby. Skelton and Ives sing 'I Wish I Was', while Ives solos on 'Lavender Cowboy'; Sands croons 'Get Happy' and 'Good Day'; and Hampton performs 'Piccadilly Shuffle.'
