Why so harsh?
Gimmickthegnome2 February 2007
As of this writing there were 13 votes: 10 people that rated it 8 to 10, and 3 people that rated it a 1! Overall rating: 2.1 Harsh.

Ready for some name dropping, here's the premise: four different women work on the same "Martha Stewart" type TV show and their many, little, real day-to-day issues. Now it would be EASY to lump this into a "Sex And The City meets Pop-Up Video rehash", but let's not do that. Instead, for a Canadian produced show, it's pretty good.

Acting, writing, production value and even the "tips" are all pretty good. Not "great", but hardly bad! Hell, if you happen to sit back and hold judgment until the end, you'll find that you MIGHT get a chuckle and at the VERY LEAST find at least one handy little tip. Check it out. Why not? 8 out of 10.

An excellent TV series!

If it is of any help at this late date ... I think I accidentally rated the show as a "1" many months ago. I meant to give it a "10" ... but I am forever making mistakes I don't know how to correct on the computer. If I could correct my initial mistake by changing my rating to a "10", I would happily do so. The overall rating of the show would then be drastically improved and give potential viewers a much more accurate assessment of what to expect. Is there a way to do that? I feel awful about my horrible slip-up! The show is lots of fun, informative, entertaining, and it deserves a large audience. I am looking forward to the next season. The principal actors do great stuff. And the women are so beautiful!

Once again, apologies for my egregious error! I hope careers have not been destroyed!

Pretty good

I like it. It's cute, clean, humorous and educational. It's an easy watch and can be pretty entertaining. The guests they have on the show are pretty cool and their website is very informative, it's full of a bunch of helpful links and tips. And hey, the actors are pretty convincing, and the plots are at least fun.

Now granted the show is probably not a lot of people's cup of tea, but it's one of those 'you either like it or hate it' things. While not the best program out there, I'd still say give it a go or two. It might even be a case where it has to grow on you. I find the characters to be quite personable, and really sometimes that's all it takes.

Honestly, the show isn't that bad.
