I thought it was a terrific theme tune

This consists of interviews with the cast(including some from the 2003 version) and crew, all of whom have something compelling to add within their area of expertise(and there is a very clear love of what they're working on), and clips from the subject.

It's 7 minutes long. This is found on the Widescreen Special Edition of S.W.A.T.

They talk about being fans. The villains and their plans. Hondo. Being recognised on the street. The amount of violence(or "chaos", as one of them puts it), and how it compares to today's standards.

I recommend this to any fan of the property. 8/10

Saturday Night's All Right For Fighting

This short documentary was made for inclusion on the DVD release of the 2003 film "S.W.A.T." It begins and ends with an advertisement for "S.W.A.T.: The Complete First Season" on DVD. You get a good look at the TV series, with a relatively generous amount of the running time providing clips from the older show. It looks like a police drama where you could be assured a good shoot-out every week. Two of the original S.W.A.T. team contribute, Steve Forrest ("Hondo") and Rod Perry ("Deke"). According to those in the newer movie, "S.W.A.T." was a favorite show. If the original show was, as stated, "number one the first week and thereafter," its early cancellation would be difficult to comprehend; although, violent content is given as a possible reason. Ratings from the time period show "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" blowing "S.W.A.T." away.
