This is a very fascinating film and I can't imagine how difficult it must have been to make even a short movie using this technique. The film maker did not use a video or movie camera for this film--instead, they used a simple digital camera. And so, instead of just shooting the film, they literally snapped thousands and thousands of snapshots in very rapid succession to make it! Now this meant that the film moved in a slightly jerky fashion--like instead of being 24 frames per second, it was only 3 or 4. However, this worked and worked well. And, since it wasn't shot the normal way, dialog wasn't used and the only sound added was a sound like a picture being taken--used again and again and again. An interesting experiment and a truly unique film--and I can appreciate that.
By the way, if you like this film, try COPY SHOP--it's even wilder and more amazing than BETWEEN YOU AND ME but is similar in that both were made frame by frame using painstaking processes.
