No laughing matter.

After viewing the antics of Beavis and Butt-head for 27 episodes, you may notice something they do quite a bit: laugh. They find sexual innuendo in almost anything somebody says and laugh and chuckle obnoxiously about it. It's their nature and they can't help it...probably, however this annoying trend has driven all of their teachers and Principal McVicker to take drastic measures. Find out what will happen in tonight's hilarious romp. So the boys begin the day in Mr. Herrera's Spanish class where he has very little lucky teaching them the language. All they know is what they learned at Taco Bell. They are given an ultimatum: speak Spanish or get sent to the principal. Butt-head spouts gibberish in a Spanish accent, and Beavis adds "taco supreme." Next, on to Mr. Stevenson's class. They find the name Butkis uproariously funny...again, and are sent to the office. Finally, in biology, they get a big kick out of the reproductive system lesson and are, of course, sent to McVicker. The nervous principal is at his wits end with them, and thus he suspends them for a week, much to their delight. As a result, he retracts his punishment, and comes up with something much more drastic.

Next day in Mr. Buzzcut's class, the boys are no longer laughing. Why? Because, according to Buzzcut, if they do laugh, they will be expelled and sent to a tougher high school where they will be beaten up daily by the other students. Everybody thinks this is funny, except of course for the boys. Buzzcut proceeds to pour salt in this open wound by announcing this to be sex ed week, putting great emphasis on covering the penis, the vagina, testicles, intercourse, and of course, masturbation. Beavis and Butt-head were fit to explode. Soon, the bell rang so they go to their favorite hangout and have a good laugh.

This episode is pretty amusing, though not quite one of my favorites. It does contain a rather disturbing scene where Butt-head bounces a pencil off a table and it spears Beavis in the eye. Not really sure why this was included, but when it comes to this show, why ask why? McVicker's voice is different here, which means I guess Mike Judge was yet to settle on a proper tone for the nervous-wreck principal. I guess he threw out his ultimatum of expulsion, since after this episode, Beavis and Butt-head laugh all they want. So if you're a fan of the show, this one is worth checking out.
