An interesting idea for a short film and DVD extra but you won't be coming back for more than one viewing
Having been reasonably taken by Broken Flower I decided to look across the special features to see if there was anything that would help me get more insight into it. This film doesn't do that at all and at first I wondered what it was about. I soon twigged onto it that the title is literally what the film is about because it is very little other than the cut of each clapper board in each scene cut together in quick succession with music over the top.
Here and there it stops on one scene to have an amusing comment or fluffed line but few of these have any value they certainly aren't as funny as you would expect an outtake montage to be. Once I got passed expecting this film to be something other than it was I tried to enjoy it for what it was. As a montage of clapper boards it is a good idea and is distracting enough when it has the outtakes woven into it but at almost 10 minutes it doesn't do that much. As a one-off curio piece on a DVD (to accompany a much larger curio piece) it works but I can't imagine that anyone would seek it out unless they enjoy the film.
