Viorel Voinescu is a man in his 50s, way too old to be only a lieutenant.
In the opening scene, the filming location is in the proximity of an actual military base in west Bucharest. There is a railway between the Militia patrol car and the Army armored vehicle. The railway has a stone border which didn't exist in 1989. It was added in the early 2000's.
