At 07:46 when Red Pierre is about to cut down the Mexican who is hanging from his wrists, it is clearly visible that his wrists are not tied together. They are simply within 2 loops of rope. Also, when Red cuts the rope and the Mexican falls to the ground, it is also clearly visible that he does not cut the rope at all and the Mexican simply slides his wrists through the loops.
