This is my favorite romantic movie ever!! Every girl dreams of finding a man like River Phoenix's character in this movie. The chemistry he has with Samantha Mathis is undeniable. I love her character in this film and even though I am not a huge country music fan, it is fun, fun, fun!! A love triangle is rarely done as well as in this movie. I could watch over and over and over :)
I can't wait to own this DVD to see the special features! I've had this movie on VHS for many years, but finally have to give it away. So excited to know its released on DVD now. In my opinion there will never be another actor as compelling as River. I would watch him in anything, and its disturbing he had so many things to be released and could not complete them. Anyone that does hard drugs, please stop. No life should be wasted.
