perfect demonstration what filthy rich means
tor-5081323 August 2018
The show is interesting but disturbingly shows how detached rich people are from the rest of society , willing to pay 400k dollars for two months rent !? makes you sick thinking about how much good could be done with the money you see getting thrown around without a care . How unfair the money distribution is in the world .

The characters are Boring
jmreviv8 February 2023
What has happened to the show ?

Season 14 ...Jason Flagg is a disaster, depressed and not in a good way , doesn't want to be there. You are not cheering for him and care less about his feelings because of his portrayal.

Josh is cool but a side kick not the main draw card.

Tracy Tutor is a very very boring character. Not likable or watchable.

They missed the formulae here. The show is second about homes and first about characters. They need a few guns, stars people we want to watch. Big casting fail. Definitely the weakest of the million dollar list franchises.

The spark is missing although the directing is good, but really the material the characters have given them to work with is weak and frankly uninteresting. They are trying to make it edgy like other listing shows but at best its ...mehhhh.

silly and made up
picaiolo26 May 2015
Amusing, not-too-serious show. Hopefully none of these post-teens messes around with the markets in real life.

Or would you buy real estate from any of these characters? or their daddies?

The more the episodes advance, the more the whole thing gets ridiculous. Despite the little stories in between are entertaining, when it comes to pricing, i rather close my ears.

The actors: Some 2 or 3 may enlighten the stage, some really scare my world view to death, as an increasing number of slick-curl-black- haired guys keep arising which makes me verify the location. No, it is not the Golan Heights. yet. Now they even come up with some British accents.

Kind of displays that the whole thing is a cheap make up, no serious actor would jump on.

i am out.

It's an escape...

I get what everyone is saying but at the end of the day, it's a TV show. If it were regular, normal people and homes, it would be HGTV and probably boring. It's beautiful homes that we would never otherwise get to see with some "reality" TV mixed in, yet not at the immature level most are, but enough to be entertaining. I happen to love the show.

Entertaining, informative and dramatic

A smartly produced show - the agents are people you wouldn't want to have anything to do with in real life - they are all far too self and money obsessed - but they are excellent television entertainment - smart, slick and disturbing at times too...

Aspirational & entertaining.

For anyone who appreciates beautiful homes or is aspiring to become a real estate mogul, this show is for you. There might be a person or two that will get on your nerves but the ones you love will make up for it. The show only gets better after season 6. I definitely think everyone should give it a shot.

OG Gone Stale
bearcrkrd27 February 2023
Waaaay back in 1980 i spent an entire month in the lower level bedroom (first of four storeys) of a hollywood hills estate. Just off sunset plaza drive. Full size pool out back on the level portion of the lot, along with a pool house. Orange trees, flowering bushes, snails, all exotic to my young Pac Nor West eyes. Had helped a friend in a serious jam, and his uncle (real uncle) invited the two of us down for an extended holiday. Could not swim in the pool as the uncle wanted it and surrounding areas kept dry and spotless, for those in "the industry". They visited after answering an ad in some hollywood movie industry weekly, regarding a script reading and then were given a sales pitch for representation. Couple actors he represented made brief B Movie careers. Honest, not making it up. Remember it well even after all these years. It is a heck of an area. Hollywood hills and all the surrounding ritzy enclaves that MDLLA sells. Have driven through 2 or 3 times since while on so cal sightseeing trips. Regarding this show (six hundred characters met, yikes?) i had no idea how much i would miss james and david. This season is still better than most if not all other similar shows, because they still focus on Real Estate. But it is just not as good as past seasons. Inbred comes to mind, as i do not have a big vocabulary. Need the palate cleanser that another agent or two could provide. And james and david did that and more. IF i could afford to buy where they sell, i would absolutely 100% trust the Agents in this show to find my new home (Flagg especially). That's why this show is the OG, and still worth a watch.

Love the houses, hate the people
katelinrogers12 January 2019
I only watch the show for the beautiful large houses, but I keep the entire thing on mute. The people in this show are your stereotypical Los Angeles/Hollywood self-absorbed people. The people in this show are not just self-absorbed, but immature and absolutely way too dramatic. They remind me of the Kardashians and that's not a good comparison to have. The only reason I still watch this show is because of the gorgeous houses.

Decent show but makes me wonder why these people have it so easy to make huge deals with little job skill
chancer_kirri2 August 2012
The only realtor with creative talent is Josh Flagg and seems by far the most professional. Altman is good at buying houses but seems immature and a lot of bark and no bite but does well with strong arm negotiation tactics. Madison seems to have been born wealthy and comes off entitled and very immature especially with his former assistant and he needs to learn to ask questions and let her explain herself instead of acting like a crazy person making accusations and assumptions.

While she should have immediately explained the situation, Madison just jumped to those wonderful, and very wrong, assumptions. Had he not he would have made money for doing nothing and let her get a deal done with an experienced seller who help guide her in making a name for herself. It was no surprise a seller wouldn't feel comfortable letting her work on her own with no experience. I also think if Madison would only get over himself to talk to her like an adult when shes not working to get her side and clear the air. I'm sure she'd find it nice to be able to talk for once without his sophomoric verbal assaults and I think it would be possible to work together if he just shut up and listened as well as finding a nice way to explain he was scared she was trying to screw him over.

I would rate the show a 7-8 but the previous review was too low since a mature no drama show of middle to late aged realtors would not have an audience of more than half a million so some immaturity and drama is needed.

Delete Fredrik

The addition of Fredrik is a big mistake. His character subtracts from the fun banter existing among the original people.

Love Josh Flagg
lkrichar13 May 2020
I love Josh Flagg. I'm only on season 7, but love the glimpse into the million dollar lifestyle. I wish Josh Altman would leave the show, he's terrible, I often fast forward when he's on. I'm glad Chad left,I wish Altman would, too.

Boring without the BRITs and Frederick
eileencampbell-518035 February 2023
Above caption tells it all... Without the Brit's, without Frederick, it is boring. 2 Joshes, boring. Good for you, Tracy, with all your long extensions And Younger guy🌞 Sad to see your daughter looking to perhaps follow in your footsteps. Do you think she really wants to live your life? Sending you like and Love, Tracy. How old do you have to be to accept yourself? Post this, it's requiring another 200 words. So I will say this: wishing you all the best, Tracy. I don't want to say anything unkind. But now I need another 95 words, so not sure why you would pour your daughter out for your real estate money. How much money will make you happy?

I watch for re-runs and watch them every chance I get! And I can't wait for Season 13! LOVE THIS SHOW!

PS added 11-30-22--I'm very disappointed that Freddie and The Brits are gone this season!!! So I've lowered my rating a little.

Love This Show
conway300017 November 2022
I have watched this show since it first premiered. What is there not to like? I enjoy seeing all of the luxury real estate on the West Coast in exclusive areas. I enjoy the professional aggressive tactics by the featured realtors. I I had to hire one of them, I would choose Josh Flagg. He seems to have a better feel for matching his clients with the right properties. He was born wealthy so he has nothing to prove - nor does he try to impress. I look forward to each season. I gather for the new season the British Team will not be part of the show and also no Edmund. I was sorry to hear that Million Dollar Listing will no longer be filmed. I gather than both Edmund, Ryan and the new Gold realtor decided to not participate. Since I live in Chicago, I enjoyed seeing residential real estate in New York City.

Fredericka is Sickening
brtree5 November 2021
Good lord this show is unwatchable with with the ultra ultra flamboyant flamboyant Frederick. They've basically dropped this "guy" in and nuked every other character out of the way. Why? There wasn't enough gay going on ? Are you kidding? I loved seeing the rich homes in LA but just can't take anymore of this Fredericka shoved in my face. Decent show ruined.

You Feel Dirty Afterwards!
Sylviastel13 March 2011
I can't help to watch this train wreck. It makes me appreciate where I live even more. I don't know whose worse, the sellers or the buyers of million dollar properties in the Los Angeles area or Southern California. There are three male Realtors of course, no females except for Madison's assistant, Heather. I dislike Madison more than the other two Josh's in all. I find him to be quite arrogant, possessive, and shallow. I wouldn't want him to sell my home personally. I dislike the way he treats Heather and suspects Josh's influence over her as the reason that she wants to branch out on her own. She's a capable woman and we're not in the 18th century. Anyway, Madison is the gay Realtor with a girl's name who lives in Malibu. Josh Altman is the Jewish Realtor who is far nicer in my opinion. He is still a Mama's boy though. The other Josh Flagg is still a mystery. Anyway, there is a feud brewing between Madison and Josh because Josh is dating Madison's assistant. Anyway, I'll watch the show on the television most misogynistic network of course for entertainment. I'll go and find my own Realtor if I wanted too.

Pretty cool way to pass the time....
luvireland-1125328 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The Uber-rich looking for money-is-no-object housing, power players in real estate, glamor and opulence, but you know that going in. Lightly scripted I'm sure for a little real estate drama, and who doesn't want some "I'LL not take a PENNY under TWENTY MILLION DOLLARS." I mainly watch for the houses and furnishings that pale in comparison to the inexpensive but adorable things that make me deliriously happy. But what I wasn't expecting was Josh Flagg and the story of his absolute love and devotion to Edith, his adorable Grandmother. His love cannot be scripted. His respect and adoration cannot be prewritten in any manner. And his grief at her passing broke my heart. I loved my sweet Grandma too. So for that reason, Josh Flagg is my favorite adorable, well-dressed, pompous high-end realtor.

LIKE WATCHING A SEX SHOW
winstonssadai7 November 2023
Why do women demean themselves by trying to become sex objects instead of alert serious business women. When boobs are nearly on show, buyers are more busy looking at them than the property. I never could stand Tracy with her screechy scratchy high pitched voice. It is so annoying to hear on tv. Now she dresses seductively with long hair to emulate the Playboy bunnies. Shame on Josh Altmann's wife with 2 young kids. God help anyone standing behind her if she were to bed over. Frankly, if i were to buy a multimillion house, I'd buy from either of the Josh men or the Brits. The show has become very tacky , inappropriate and frankly i fast forward when the 2 dolly birds are on. Their voices, especially Tracy's are SO annoying. Shame they lowered the tone of a show i enjoyed watching.
