Rich and Mary Alice have been in their lovely home for nearly seven years and have done a lot of work to it. However, there are a few projects that they just don't know how to tackle themselves. They want to expand their basement family room by removing a second set of stairs and replace the dated ceramic tile floor in the foyer with hardwood.

They want to build a soundproof music studio in the basement with a desk to organize the audio equipment, and update the family room by removing the dark paneling.

They want to get rid of the wood decking that covers the entire yard and replace it with sod so the kids have a place to play. They'd like to keep a small seating area and build a walkway leading to it.

They'd like to give the house some curb appeal by dressing up the carport and start their married life off right by turning the finished attic into a large master bedroom.

At the top of her list is updating the 80's kitchen with a warm rustic look. She'd also like to add a soothing, tranquil water feature in the master bedroom. They're hoping that Steve can help them get the jobs done.

Mary and Mike have four young sons, so they don't have much time for home projects. Since the boys are getting older, they'd love to create a big playroom for them in the basement. Additionally, they want to spruce up the backyard by extending the existing fence, creating a flagstone patio and installing a decorative fountain.

Dan and Kelley love their house, but Dan feels that his personal space is shrinking. Kelley would love to give him his own space by reworking their son's room and the neighboring laundry area. Steve's got a plan to give Dan more space and keep their son happy by turning his bunk bed into a loft with lots of storage space.

Matt and Kristen have had to put their home improvement projects on hold for a while, but they're finally ready to get back to work. Their biggest project is covering up the loose stone patio in the backyard with a splinter-free, platform deck. They also want to turn an unused tub in the downstairs bathroom into a more useful linen closet, and fix the broken gate on their backyard fence. They're hoping Steve can help them get back on track with these projects.

Emily and Jim's house used to be her parent's dream house. Now, they want to make some changes to make it their own. They want to wall up one of the double sliding doors in the dining room to give the room a more defined feel. They'd also want to reconfigure their combined mudroom and laundry space, and make some built-in bookshelves for the family room.

Jody is a dentist, entrepreneur, and aspiring rock star. Her dental practice is on the first floor of her Victorian home, leaving her the 2nd and 3rd as her living spaces. Jody wants to give her kitchen a 1950's style makeover complete with a seating area made out of a classic car, new cabinets and a lighting fixture. She needs Steve's help to come get the job done.

They would love to have the place squared away so that they can entertain their friends and family in their home after the wedding. They want to resurface the back deck, expand the master bedroom closet, and build some shelves to add storage in their small kitchen.
