Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Arbaaz Khan, and Suniel Shetty in Shootout at Lokhandwala (2007)

Goofs

Shootout at Lokhandwala

Edit

Continuity

When the RPG is directed towards a Padmini Premiere, nearby cars' glasses explode after a long gap.
At the end of the movie, when they show Maya 'Mayabhai' Dolas (Vivek Oberoi) and his gang dead, and aligned on the road, Dilip 'Buvabhai' Buva (Tusshar Kapoor) bullet wounds have disappeared from when Inspector Kaviraj 'Kavi' Patil (Sunil Shetty) shoots him multiple times. However, when loading him into the back of the van, his bullet wounds are visible once again.

Factual errors

In one scene, Dilip Buwa (Tusshar Kapoor) shows off a Beretta Cougar pistol which he claims that it is German made and has magazine capacity of six rounds bullet. But, the Beretta Cougar pistol is actually made in Italy and holds 10 rounds bullet.

Anachronisms

During Tusshar's intro scene in the showroom, Flat TV's are shown which was not available in india during 1991.
The song 'Ganpat' in its second verse mentions Bipasha (Bipasha Basu), Mallika (Mallika Sherawat) & Aishwarya (Aishwarya Rai). All of these actresses started acting in movies only after 1995, where as the song supposedly takes place in mid 1991.
When Kaviraj Patil (Sunil Shetty) returns after making a telephone call from the phone Booth, at Bakri Adda, a Tata Indigo car was seen passing by. Tata Indigo was launched in 2000s while the movie was supposedly showing events during the late 80s and early 90s.
In the scene just before the shoot out, when the anchorwoman is interviewing an actress, the table has a Pepsi bottle on it. However, this Pepsi bottle looks like the redesigned Pepsi bottles from the late 90s: since the film takes place in 1991, the bottle should have been the older gray/white style.
The scene where Dilip 'Buvabhai' Buva (Tusshar Kapoor) goes to save Tarannum 'Tanu' (Aarti Chhabria) in a shopping store, there is a Sony Viao poster in the background. Sony introduced Vaio after 1996.

Crew or equipment visible

When Arbaaz Khan is talking to Rohit Roy's parents, the cameraman & a helper can be seen on Arbaaz's goggles.
Reflectors, Cameraman & Helper are visible in glasses of Dawood Ibrahim's character when he is giving tip to Sanjay Dutt's character.

Character error

Shamsher Khan (played by Sanjay Dutt) is a Muslim, however when we see him writing on a notepad, we see red thread on his right wrist which is worn by Hindus. For other scenes in the film, Sanjay covered his wrist with the sleeve of his shirt, however in this scene the sleeve is folded up and we can see the red thread.
